Wine tasting at Waldorf Astoria’s “Bull & Bear”

Waldorf-Astoria, NYC’s most historic hotel, is teaming up with Eklektikon to serve high-end Greek wine for the first time in its entire history! Take a look at November 27th’s unique wine tasting, at Bull and Bear steakhouse of Waldorf Astoria.

Waldorf-Astoria is New York’s most historic hotel. It was, at its time, the largest hotel in the world and is credited with changing the hotel industry by offering room service for the first time.

Eklektikon is an importer of the most eclectic high-end Greek wine. Greek wine is starting to become a stipulation in American wine lists thanks to its uniqueness, phenomenal acidity and the high quality standards and passion it is made with.

These two companies are now writing history together, as Eklektikon’s wines is the first Greek wines to ever be served at Waldorf-Astoria, in its entire history, giving high-end Greek wine a globally acclaimed status as some of the finest.

Eklektikon hosted a wine tasting of these new exquisite additions to the hotel’s Bull & Bear steakhouse (Lexington av & 49th st, New York, NY) on Tuesday, November 27th. En Oeno… red 2008 (Cab. Sauv. – Merlot – Cab. Franc), Eurynome red 2010 (Xinomavro – Negoska), En Oeno… white 2011 (Assyrtiko – Sauv. Blanc) and Eurynome white 2011 (Roditis).
